Israeli DevTools Start-ups 2021

I ❤️ love DevTools, and by DevTools I mean any tool that developers can use in their day-to-day work and that helps them perform their job better, more efficiently (or more happily). We all talk about the lack of experienced developers, the high turnover of employees, the burden of onboarding new hires, the never ending environment complexity and the fact that actually every company is becoming a software company. There is no magic here, it is what it is. You need to build the culture and process that will help you address these challenges, and one of the things that might help in addition to all that are DevTools. We listed 𝐈𝐬𝐫𝐚𝐞𝐥𝐢 Devtools startups we are familiar with. Total twenty-four companies, of which over 80% were launched during the last three years, so they are mainly in the seed and A phases. About $300 million has been invested from top US and Israeli venture capital firms. Most companies on their way to becoming PLG, offer a free version option, but in most cases you still need to contact them to upgrade. Since community is integral to a developer-driven software company, many of them started community initiation. It seems that DevRel is still a struggle, and there is a lot of room for growth. We expect to see more DevTools companies meeting the needs of the ever-growing developer community. Details are listed in the first link. *** P.S.
